Wahey..just listened to a live set of theirs the other night from the states..the radio hosts were just lounging around in bath robes whilst Royksopp were playing a rather chilled set.

I guess it's one thing I can be proud of as a Norwegian, we cornered the electronica genre years ago..

If you like Røyksopp you are also likely to like another band called Ugress..

Be further pleased Norsk, you guys totally dominate the black metal genre too(norwegians invented church burning..lol..I'd be proud if my country was famous for oil and burning stuff..and you do keep on producing some mean jazz artists as well). I had the pleasure of seeing 'The thing' last time I was back in the UK, far out jazz..

Right. Those black metal/death metal boys are not good..Some of the guys from Dimmu Borgir went to the same school as me (a few years below) and we always thought they were a bit freaky. Most of the Black Metal chaps weren't into church burning thing though, that was mostly Count Grishnack or whatever his name was. He's apparently out of prison and a successful musician with a couple of kids now...

The Thing is only part Norwegian by the way, the rest is Swedish..
