As for The Bairn, decent guy, BUT, drinks Amstel Light and stops at 3 pints. Now if I didn't know he was a Geordie I'd have put him as a Scampy-Southern-Poofter-Shandy-Drinking type. |

Update, the lad has settled in well and is loving his new job. Took a gamble inviting a stranger into our home but my gut feeling was right :thumbsup:

Wow,
Just read through this whole thread. BC hat off to you for doing something so selfless, Glad it has all worked out for both parties. And well done to Jonk for getting on the plane. The hardest part is over you are here everything else will fall into place am sure. If you are near The Ramada come down a cpl more doors further a long and visit City Maxx. Great live band weekdays. Thanks Chris, Jonk is doing great, first month under his belt, he has settled into the job and life here really well, for me I have two loads of a washing extra a week and the joy of seeing a young man start his career in the UAE. I have to say we are very proud of how well he has handled all the change in his life. He is well handy for taking the child swimming as well :thumbsup:
