If it pleases the Court, m'Lud, may I introduce the concept of "Gray Syndrome" - the peculiarly British phenomenon of the media hyping up the 'next great thing' to levels way above their talent. It's named after two of its greatest beneficiaries - the talentless Macy Gray and David Gray.

there's probably a lot of artists but i'd say the biggest annoyance with music in general is people...
People who believe there taste in music is generally superior to everyone else's because they've owned/heard/bought a cassette of a rare b side of some bob dylan song from the 60's...get real
people who go to concerts and say oh they were better live...we'll 2 out of the 4 Beatles are dead so i'll never know if they were better live...guess that means i cant appreciate them then hmmmm
music fascists who believe everything was better on vinyl. yeah and movies were better on betamax too...arseholes
people who buy iPods and store 5 songs on it, people who wear Beats By Dre headphones...because clearly the pricetag denotes superior sound quality
people who constantly post songs from youtube in forums and on social networking sites...i'm so glad i now know Rihanna is an integral part of your life and you love all of her songs...its made my ****in day...
