Ethos83 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Room 101 - Cars

Anything from Pimp my Ride.

Cadillacs. The only excuse to having a Cadillac is if you're over 80.

Anything has something of a presence when you're doing 140 and the twat's sniffing your tailpipe

What about cars wrapped in pseudo chrome, Dubai must have been ground zero for this trend.

Heres plenty of pics of cars in wrap.

Solution as follows;

1. Flash flash flash flash
2. Realise the driver is on the phone.
3. Drive closer and just left of the vehicle in front so they know you're there
4. Realise he still hasn't seen / doesn't give a shit.
5. Undertake
6. Whilst undertaking, wind down window and scream obscenities.
7. Repeat with the car in front that you failed to notice.

I quite like it, which probably says a lot for my taste in cars...

I've got the LWB 3.5 and it does me fine off road as far as the performance goes. The idiot that decided to attach that silver scoop to the bottom of the rear bumper needs shot though. Everytime I take it dune bashing it gets ripped back.

The 3.5 isn't so bad - 3.8s are better. The 3.0s are pretty powerless.

You always lose the rear bumper on the LWBs ones.

gobsmacked no-one has mentioned this monstrosity.
looks like a mini on steroids, can only carry the same number of people as a mini, and more common in the office car park than landcruisers.
really, what IS the point?

I don't ever anticipate using seats 6 and 7 but with them flat it means I can leave my golf clubs in the motor. Saves on effort. Tick.
I have two kids and I reckoned I will not need a 7 seat XC90 so I bought a 5 seater and saved a few quid. I have come to regret this decision on several occasions. Whenever my parents or wife's parents visit we're ****ed and need to go about like a convoy.

I was considering Fortuner or a Prado but then I realised they only come with front airbags here. Looks like it's going to be an Armada this time. Wins on price, road presence and space.
