indeed, he really was quite brilliant.

A very under-rated actor in my humble opinion. Recently saw him in Inception when he appropriately played an old man on his death bed. He was great too in Brassed Off if my memory serves me right.

He was in the Age of Stupid, it was an excellent film, if you missed it then you missed out.
