Right you lot - it's 'Whip Round' time........
Come on - let's all get together and buy this........... it's probably worthless in the financial sense but it is an iconic part of Dubai's history.

It seems there’s no room for the guitars at the Café at Festival City. The venue’s general manager, Vatche Yacoubian, said there are already plans to build a new guitar statue at his venue. “It’ll be the largest guitar outside a Hard Rock Café in the world,” he revealed.
Don't worry about the old ones that mean something to people who walked under them or were here when it was a big deal....we'll build big new shiny ones, the biggest ever. That'll be OK.

It would cost a small fortune to move it off the pedestal let alone relocate it elsewhere. My understanding is that it's made of solid concrete and cannot be easily dismantled.

Why on earth did they make it out of concrete, steel skeleton with panels of steel or some other material would have been a better option.
Removing it in 1 piece is going to require custom cradle/support structure me thinks.

Too late............ driving past yesterday, I noticed that the two guitars had been reduced to one and a half guitars........
