I've loved watchin Aerobatics since I was a kid, my dad has known for years an ex World Champion who flew the Marlboro Pitts Special in the 70's, but these guys make him look sane!

They were out doing their displays today - it was so exciting to watch! Nigel Lamb has definitely got the best looking aircraft.

I went last year and treated myself to a day in the VIP area, it was i suspect a far better experience, you got free red bull and free food and got to hear the commentary and see the action on the big screen as well as in front of you. We were given binoculars as a gift, it was an expensive but good day out.
This year i am not sure if i am going to go, as the VIP is now more expensive and also last year i didnt know many people in AD so going on my own was fine, this year i did want to go with friends but i am struggling to find anyone who actually wants to go. (sorry i got sidetracked) Chris79 i think you are in for a treat with your prize.... |
