My much beloved other half, who I met in Qatar over 16 years ago, who stuck with me through the good times and bad, died unexpectedly yesterday.
I always thought I would go first, and now there is the emotional ho-haa of a cremation to (not) look forwards to.
I'm going to disappear for a while, but in the meantime, thank you for making me laugh, and to those who've responded to karma and oddball P.M's , well thank you again...

My thoughts are with you. I can relate to the deep sadness.
I lost my dad 2 years ago but it seems like just a few days ago. The only reason I am coping somewhat is because I take SSRIs (for my OCD ) which keeps me from feeling down and out. Then back in March my cat passed away ; she was 19 . It seemed like the end of an era.
This forum is 1 avenue that helps to keep me mind occupied.
I lost my dad 2 years ago but it seems like just a few days ago. The only reason I am coping somewhat is because I take SSRIs (for my OCD ) which keeps me from feeling down and out. Then back in March my cat passed away ; she was 19 . It seemed like the end of an era.
This forum is 1 avenue that helps to keep me mind occupied.
