Question from a pathetic woman in need :-(
So my car has died. I think all the water must have got to the electrics. But I have no idea what to do or who to call. Anyone got any ideas?

We knew the penny would drop sooner or later....if all else fails, undo a few buttons on your blouse, show a bit of leg, and look like a damsel in distress.....always works for me

I was thanking him for sticking up for me in supplying a not very useful solution! If you gave me the name and number of a garage near me I might have thanked you!!
Anyway, just to let you know I am not usually this pathetic having survived here for 3 years on my own in self-employment and doing various jobs round the house like plumbing, electrics and am just about to go and reattach a door in the hall that no-one else can be bothered to do... etc etc but just having a pathetic day today

I assume the breakdown service gets to you before the police arrive... I know some of these guys go 'without' for a while, but I even wouldn't consider 'assisting' a cross-dressing Bangleman...
