Re: Question for the Ladies of BE
if you are going to head down the lingerie route here's a couple tips learnt the hard way;
- don't buy crotchless - just not a good idea
- always go for a small size - better her take it back than think you reckon her ar*e is huge

If it's a big birthday then a pressie is probably needed. If it's just an in between birthday, then I think you have been more than generous.

I'd also, personally, welcome a larger size than a smaller one. I think you can squirm out of buying too big easier than too small... imagine her trying on undies that are too small and then cue a huge "I'm too big for this!", "I'm too fat!" [burst into tears] "I used to be this size!" etc... Whereas if she tries it on and it's too big, there'll be disapointment but still a vague edge of flattery, knowing that she's smaller... or it'll just be really comfy!

yeah, you see, I think buying lingerie is jsut too full of pitfalls... unless it's a nice nightie.

1. Man asks lady what size she is
2. Man goes into shop & buys something nice in that size
3. Lady is happy.

Oh dear. That all sounds terribly complicated and fraught with problems. Maybe my idea wasn't so good after all. I just imagined it would go like this:
1. Man asks lady what size she is
2. Man goes into shop & buys something nice in that size
3. Lady is happy.
