Default Police and pizza boxes

http://www.7daysinabudhabi.com/Pizza...ail/story.html

Police in Abu Dhabi are clamping down on the size of boxes on the back of motorcycles delivering pizzas after scrapes and bumps with the city's motorists.

New rules to be introduced next month state that no pizza delivery box on the back of a motorbike or moped can be larger than 40cm in length, width and height.

The boxes must have no sharp edges and be made of hard plastic to avoid metal boxes damaging cars. They must also have a white reflective X on the side and back so motorists can recognise them

See link for more.

Some days it's hard to tell the difference between satire and actual 'news' publications.

fair enough

it's the big container as opposed to a few card boxes leashed together. They look quite unwieldy attached to a motorbike.

Whilst talking Pizza - had my first NKD pizza last week at the golf. Believe the hype. Really nice. The base made it.

Here's some more dubious news, which ostensibly is about a dog but seems much more geared towards puppies...

I think the police should be appladed on this one. They have a point and we all know the way the delivery riders ride.

Kudos to them.

Blimey!! Seems from what few pages I managed to glance at, this guy has a serious case of always replying to every single post there is!!
Someone who always has an answer for everything regardless of it being wrong or right, I pronounce verbal diarrhea!
I pity the wife on so many levels!

perhaps rather than change the box size they could learn to drive properly? or put some of those blue squidgy things on the corners that some people insist on putting on their car doors?
