I've got into listening to podcasts of late - particularly Dave Gorman's show from Absolute Radio, Frank Skinner's from the same station, David Mitchell's Soap Box and a music one called 'Electro House ,Filthy House, Dirty Electro, ohh....and Funky house'.

Anyone got any other recommendations, as there are thousands of the buggers out there and the trial and error of going through them on iTunes is doing my nut. Open to any suggestions, whether music, comedy, news, educational, sport...

Thank you please.

I've only just started downloading podcasts, and actually Dave Gorman, Frank Skinner and David Mitchell are all ones that I have downloaded, although I haven't actually got round to listening to them yet.

Can't help with your query, but, tell me, are the above worth listening to???

I love the Dave Gorman show, I think he's comedy genius. So rare these days to be so funny and not stoop to having to insult or mock people, swearing and such. I've downloaded them all (about 30+) and have just finished them, so down to only having one a week to listen too rather than the 2/3 a day I was happily getting through.

I'm a long time Skinner fan, and think he's a very funny and interesting bloke, oft written off as just being about nob gags, but if you've read either of his books you'll know he's an educated and quite neurotic character.

With both all the music, adverts, news etc is edited out of the podcast, which certainly is a shame from the music perspective.

David Mitchell's are short videos - 3-5mins - of him ranting in his very polite and very funny manner.

They all help pass the time at work.

Ah thanks for that. Saw Dave Gorman when he did a show in Morecambe a few years ago, and he was brilliant.

Will keep an eye out for new stuff and will pass on any gems that I find. It is all quite new to me, as I only got my ipod at christmas and am a bit of a frigwit with this new fangled technology to be honest!
