Not sure if we have any Hull City supporters on here but it seems that the sunbed kid is on his way. I cannot see how the introduction of a new manager at this late stage can help the club so at least we now know two of the relegation certainties.

Not if Bullard and Barmby continue their fist fight in the park. So where was Geovanni and Hunt against Arsenal? Their goalie must be feeling sick as his last minute fumble seems to have cost the gaffer his job.

The amazing thing is they've replaced him with the king of the wooden heads Ian Dowie.

It's like employing King Herod as a babysitter..He was crap at Charlton , was part of Newcastle's downfall last season, now he's had a stint on showtime and he thinks he's Marcelo Lippi..!

One word for the Tigers.....DOOMED..!

“Hello? Is that Phil? Hi Phil, it’s the Chairman here. Fine thanks.

Look Phil, this isn’t easy to say but I think we have to let you go. We’re just not getting the results and relegation is looking inevitable. Sorry. Come into my office tomorrow and we’ll sort out the details.

What’s that you say?

Yes, I know you took over when we were in the relegation places in the Championship… and yes, I know you kept us up that year… and yes, I know you took us into the Premier League the following season… and yes, I know you are still working with the nucleus of the same squad of players that nearly went down to League One… and yes, I know that much of last season was superb…

………. But you see, Phil, although we basically have a squad of Championship and League One quality, we’re just not winning against the Man Utds and the Chelseas…………

Goodbye Phil.”
