its not compulsory but thats what the rental commitee stated when asked beforehand, obviously its a pain so i would say just do when you vacate etc.

Yep and why not? Sure it won't cost much to re-paint one big room.

Does AED 700 sound like too much for some lads to come in and paint my whole largish living room?

Just emulsioning the walls? That's a 2 or 3 hour job for one person, so is AED700 a good price for a half days work?

I'd say it was well toppy.

Aye was just checking - yeah 2 coats on teh walls, about 4 hours he said and can do it this weekend.

depends on the colour of the walls, it can take a few coats to get rid of a really dark colour etc.
