You can freeze bread you know. Buy enough Portugese rolls for the week but take out enough for the next day's lunch from the freezer the night before.

Do you have a Ben 10 or a Sponge Bob lunchbox?

Just a nice bread roll from Spinneys. No idea what the Portuguese connection in? Perhaps they go well with Sardines?

YEah, the mrs freezes two slices of bread in sandwich bags for toast...I just don't fancy that....don't the rolls go all wet?

I dunno,it's a white bap with flour on top as far as I'm concerned.

Frozen bread is rank. Only good for toast.

A friend of mine's wife would freeze his whole sandwich!

You may find it tastes better if you allow it to defrost before eating it.

Debatable.

Allegedly, motorway service stations and the like "refresh" sandwiches near their sell-by date by recovering the filling and putting it in fresh bread. A man in a pub told me.
