As annoying as the next generation are, the one before me is pretty poor. Life's been far too kind for so many.

I agree with this. They had the world on a plate after WW2 and did pretty much bugger all with it.

Adding ".... Just kidding!" to what you just said doesn't make it funny, it makes it irritating.

I find the word misogynist somewhat overused and irritating.

There's a few words on LinkedIn that grind my gears. Examples being when people describe themselves as 'Disruptors', 'Evangelists', 'Guru' and other wanky terms...

I've seen a recruiter call himself a 'Talent Broker'.

I find it irritating when people describe themselves as "creative", or, even worse, "a creative".

I'll be the judge of that, thank you very much. In your eyes you may be creative, but in mine you're mostly just hipsterising someone else's ideas.

Is being a 'disruptor' a positive thing then?

I'm an Admin for an animal website and we have a woman who constantly posts about 'yummy' food. I want to hurt her. I want to shove her 'yummy' food where the sun don't shine. Stupid ****ing immature word.

Yes, Uber is disrupting the taxi business, Amazon is disrupting retail, Airbnb is disrupting the hotel business, etc.

Yeah I guess I inadvertently implied that also by posting that phrase here but it was not my intent as it is, if anything, underused in the Sand Pit where it is rife and not called out often enough: my proposal was actually meant for Room 101 but it was late (after 7pm) and I was knackered so got my threads mixed up!
