Have you tried the Warehouse cum Alpha complex at Le Meridien Village? Very popular with the upmarket Lebanese it seems. The terrace is nice too. Went there to watch the footy last Wednesday and it was lively to say the least.

no, not been there as I was told that's it's very much a young peoples type place, and and I am getting quite past it...maybe when there's football on it attracts a different crowd...

No, the footy was being shown at Dubliners next door. The lively atmosphere was noticed at the Warehouse and Alpha Club as I walked past. The Meridien Terrace was also packed but mainly with western tourists. The good thing is the choice of venues all within spitting distance and the ease of getting taxis home...and MH you are certainly not past it...yet.
