It seems that the first of the floating villas has been built with others in construction stage. A mere Dhs 10m each.

On the very remote chance that underwater tennis court gets the go-ahead, the roof will need to have far far more bracing. I am thinking it would have to be 30-40 feet below the surface to make the whole underwater expereince attractive.
The pressure isn't much (32 psi at 40 feet) but would be a bitch trying to watertight such a huge enclosure. |

You might want to be underwater to see the cool underwatery stuff, fish etc., or you might want to watch some tennis. Doing both at the same time seems like an attention deficit disordery step too far, like golf on the moon.
