I think it's fantastic, and I regard myself as something of a veteran when it comes to Japanese food. It's better than Nobu, as I said, and I'd certainly rate it above what seems to be everyone's go-to Japanese of choice, Zuma. I've had decent meals at that one in Emirates Towers (whose name I cannot recall at present) but Okku is consistently the best.

Not been to Okku as yet, but should do. I do like Nobu I have to admit, Zuma was great. Tokyo @ The Towers (I think it's called) was ok. There is a tiny place in Grand Hyatt that was quite quirky and cool... nice grilled eel.
