Where? Korea or Singapore

My department HQ is in Singapore, and we have tonnes of work in Korea.

I can throw your other halfs CV down to my office in Sing.

Korea, you would be living in Okpo, in Keoje Island...I'd advise doing a little bit of research into this area first.

Singapore is bloody expensive..certainly not cheaper than most places. Accommodation is limited pretty much to apartments..

Ask inse, he is there now and more current..

You have my email addy, get your other half to drop me a line to trigger of an email to my HQ in sing.

Depends where you live. if you want to live near Orchard road then yes it will be bloody expensive. But if you live in the east coast or other similar areas then it is probably cheaper. We pay 10k dhs per month for a nice big 3 bed, 2 balcony Condo. we can fit queensize beds in all 3 bedrooms. Our condo has a 50m swiming pool, a small gym and 2 tennis courts. we are also 2 mins walk from a large shopping mall with 2 supermarkets and we have direct buses into the city every 10 minutes.

prices are coming down.

Sorry, had to chuckle at Inse telling us about the gym, pool and tennis courts.... Pretty sure the Singaporeans have a strict dress code... so your shorts must have been confiscated upon arrival....

outtatouch is an unknown quantity at this point

Singapore is a breeze - no dress code, no Ramandan, no problem with alcohol. Would go back in a minute. Clean and one of the most efficiently run places in the world. Nowhere like it. You can pretty much get by with just one car or no cars as taxis are in abundance and cheap. If you can snag something there, go for it. You'll never look back!
