New local pub opens.............
They're showing the football, but nobody bothers to watch it.............

I coudln't view it either ..reports an import error.
Anyway, I went to the new Irish Pub at Dubai Marina (The Hub in the Sofitel Hotel) on The Walk. Wasn't impressed...not sure why it is Irish, except for obvious Irish beers on tap. It had no life, no atmosphere (no smoking in or on the balcony/terrace
), and also no drinking on the terrace ('cos JBR residents/Joe Public can walk past).
