I think you are downloading and saving the picture then using it as an attachment. Where as I am using the URL directly of the pictures internet location, 'hotlinking' as the kids call it.

One further advance is to use an Imgur add-on to your browser and when you right click the picture it will upload it to Imgur and give you a URL for the picture. Some sites don't like direct linking as it eats their bandwidth so to speak.
This may all be crap but it sounds good.
