I hate it being in March. It falls the day after my mum's birthday this year. It has fallen on the same day before and she always insists on separate cards and gifts, naturally!

More to the point, the weather is usually crap. It's in May or June (can't remember which) in the US so much better chance of a nice day out..

My son will be going home the day before (sad face) - however I've never let him buy me anything or celebrate it in any way, so it doesn't make any difference. I will have to send my mother something I suppose.

As my adoptive mother passed away over 20 years ago, I will simply have to remind my daughter to make the misses breakfast in bed. Incidentally, is this the UK version or the USA one?

UK one....the US one isn't till May or there abouts...so it's a bugger finding a card down my way as I forgot to buy a spare one last year :/
