And also for you, yes I did exactly mean it the way I said it.
There is no right way to grieve, it's a personal thing. All these people that judge someone because they still put on earrings or wear make up and therefore cannot be grieving properly....what a load of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can sort of understand people saying it, who have not been through it, cause how would you know differently, but for someone who has lost a child still to be able to say there is something weird about their grieving annoys me.
Anyway, we PMed about it and thats the end of it as far as I am concerned.
This is just a general observation though, nothing to do with Madeleines mother being guilty or not.
I have said it on another thread, but I will repeat it here, when my daughter died, I still showered, put on make up, nice clothes etc...doing the normal day to day things, the familiar routines makes a life that is otherwise spinning out of control bearable.

MH - That's exactly what I was saying in the above statement - let's put it down to a misunderstanding, or a clumsy wording, or whatever.
I notice nobody is defending the police - good thing too........... and somebody posted a link to a Guardian article - good grief, now we really ARE scraping the barrel........
I now gracefully (hopefully) withdraw from this thread - everything I could now contribute is merely a repeat of what I've already posted.

Personally I think this thread should be closed. Innocent until proven Guilty. Nothing else to say!
