A friends maid husband moved to Dubai and has not been in contact with his wife (the maid) - his cell is switched off but she has lost contact with him (a tad foolish to lose a husband but Im told that is not helping!). Any suggestions on how to locate the lothario. - She has his cell number but its switched off, his skype hasnt shown him 'logged on' but does have his emirates id card number

She doesnt have funds to go there ?

Any suggestions (ideally helpful ones rather than tell her to face hard cold reality (I was called 'hard' and 'callous') so this is my good deed for the day!

Report him as a missing person to the Police I would suggest?

UAE Ministry of Interior (ie the cops) can track him down, if they choose to.

File for divorce then apply for a freeze on his bank accounts. Kill of Cure
