I was feeling Christmassy 5 days of Baking,wrapping,shopping etc running round doing a million errands, all feeling lovely- I am now ready to kill my father- debating going to a hotel- honestly why are old men soo ******* miserable? This is the last time I come here for Christmas! Christmas is cancelled

Xmas Hols update, since landing in the UK on friday I have racked up the following stats

Miles covered - 420 ish
Friends and relatives seen - 30
Presents wrapped - lost count
Mince pies consumed - 1
Crackers Pulled - 1
Smiles - lots and lots

Darling, don't let him press your buttons.. rise above it.. if he starts having a go at you, just smile sweetly and tell him ' I'm not having this conversation' and walk out of the room.... ignore him, and don't engage or defend your position... trust me darling.. I have also dealt with a total c*** of a father.

Thanks for the wise words pats- I'm finishing wrapping and going to bed- just one more day to get through then I'm with friends- just feel bad leaving my mum with him - honestly I don't know how she does it- I'd have him buried under the patio
