I may be able to do 7th, would prefer 14th though, again, travel plans are subject to change.

It was just that you started the thread by saying you want a meet up coz you couldn't come recently, then said we could go ahead without you. That's like not turning up for your own birthday party

I think the consensus is these meets ups are most successful if held on a Wednesday night so that we don't have to lose any of our weekends to socialise with people that we really would rather not be seen in public with.

So, I'm going to suggest 7th November - starting from 6pm at the Stables.

I know people will bitch about the location, but it's the venue that has had the highest attendance historically. If we start early, we can all leave early and get back to slagging each other off behind our screens.

Fair enough... The thing is, I try not to plan around the travel to Afghanistan as it rarely falls on the day I plan... but I'm planning 13/14th.

Sort of. Got the Mrs to do the kitchen the other day. Her family arrive en masse tomorrow night so needs to be presentable apparently.

I say free bed for 10 days = it looks how it looks, deal with it.
