So I see she is trying adopting another little Malawian child.....

I cannot beleive she is getting stick from a lot of people for this.....if she can offer the child a good home, a mother, a future away free of poverty and aids, and to want for nothing, then whats the problem ?????

I would have thought the bigger problem was her 'real children' growing up and resenting the fact they are going to have to share any inheritance with a couple of Malawian's adoptee's

The issues are these:

1. She lives a weird and detached celebrity lifestyle...there is no way you could have Madonna as your mum and grow up in a normal environment.
2. She's taking children away from their country, culture and extended family...if she really loved these kids and cared she'd use her wealth to build decent orphanages and help kids to be reunited with extended family plus pay for them to get decent education.
3. There are thousands of children in Britain and America who are in desperate need of help with schooling, money and other issues...why can't she help them?

1. Well that kind of normal has to be better than some fly infested mud hut surely ? Besides, having a Mum who is a bit of a 'sort' would be pretty cool !

2. Use her wealth to build some orphanage in the middle of nowhere for the kids to be abused / sold etc or some local despot use it as a military base...good plan !

1. I'm sure even poor people in Malawi don't all live in "fly infested mud huts"...anyways Madonna could easily sort them out some cash to put in fly screens and some air conditioning

3. Because it might show that charity begins at home...why try to solve the world's problems when your own back yard is in a state?

The fact is Madonna can go out of her front door and down the road to one of the many orphanages in the US or Britain and find beautiful children who really need a home.

I think the only reason she's in Malawi is publicity.
