Lunch

Things are so slow in my office right now, it's been dead since the start of July using the Ramadan/summer effect excuse, now people are still not back from holidays and Eid is knocking. It's been impossible for me to move any projects forward these two months.

Which brings me to my title, what did you have for lunch today? (seeing as that's the highlight of my working day right now).

I had homemade chilli and rice.

Never eat lunch during the working week as it makes me sleepy/drowsy.

Chilli & rice would send comatose me !

Never makes me sleepy. The amount of rice is pathetic, often it's chili and salad.

Went to the beach today on the east coast of Italy. It was our last day trip of the dinner so ate: calamari fritte, Melon and proscuitto, vongole, pasta with local tomatoes, spaghetti with swordfish carbonara and the summer salad. Gorged.
Pork chops, freshly hacked off the ribcage by my fave lesbo butcher, for supps.

8 tins of Skol. Am in holiday in Brazil. Not as bad as the watered down stuff they used to (maybe still do) sell in the UK.

Yesterday's snap was a hotdog sausage and feta cheese omelette.

Today, I'll be having leftover pizza from last night's tea (chicken tikka and ham, pineapple and chillies). Love cold pizza :)

And for the rest of the week: Kimchi, Kimchi, Kimchi. And next week. And the week after...

I could murder a cheese sandwich.

isn't that more of a condiment?

Er...No.

Condiments are things to add flavour, Kimchi is a food in its own right.

We do have other things with it, but every meal (brekkie, lunch and dinner) have rice, soup and Kimchi, plus usually a wet stew-like dish (seafood or meat) plus veg.

ah my bad - I always thought kimchi was similar to pickled vegetables.

It is picked vegetables (usually, but it can also be grasshoppers). Picked vegetables aren't condiments.

I thought we were buddies....but today I learn you're a ****ing disgrace.

If you put it in burgers too, we're over.
If you don't we can work towards forgiveness.

really? i figured things like pickled garlic, pickled cucumber etc would be considered condiments - but i guess you are strictly referring to ketchup, mayo, salad cream etc.

All I have left in my fridge is eggs, bacon, cheese and spring onions - so, for my late lunch, it'll be another omelette.

I'm off to the UK for 6 weeks, so eating up all the remaining food.

All the above talk about pizza... that can be my dinner for tonight.
