London, baby!

Re: London, baby!
nothing major - just had a lunchtime stroll around Piccadilly, Golden Square, Carnaby St etc. Just so full of life and actual people (as opposed to cars), people in suits, in hoodies, in cardboard boxes, all sharing a city. Of course it's not just London - but that's where I happen to be today

A few years ago though, I took the kids down over the Easter hols, and had a great time. Went round doing some sight seeing, had great weather, did some shopping, saw London at close hand and was really impressed with it all. I would live there, but only if I was loaded and could live somewhere very nice, otherwise the cost of it all is scary....
Mind you, have just got back from Rome, and what a fantastic place that is to behold!

Re: London, baby!
nope, not the Lamb - somewhere more modern, funky and downstairs
thought he Lamb and Flag is brilliant for an afterwork beer on a summer evening.
