"You get better-looking as you get older. Discuss."

Re: It's "The Big Debate".........
I was at a party last week and had a few pictures of me taken in various states of drunkedness, there is one in particular where I was a bit excited and I look more or less the same as I did when I was 4- ( it really is quite scary) so I look the same (apart from lady bumps and a few laughter lines) however the energy I give out is very different! once upon a time I was sweet and innocent... I hope I can still have that twinkle in my eye when Im 90!
Im a keen believer that attractiveness comes from within- if your a mean old bastard you will never look attractive- good looking maybe but attractive no- fine if your gonna gag them I guess.

I suspect one of the factors is that we are simply more aware of health issues these days (we now know that smoking, for example, dries out your skin and wrinkles it more readily).
There's only so much a plastic surgeon or whatever can do.............. they both look quite 'childish' in that photo in my view, which obviously disappeared as they grew older..............

It's the seventies, people. Nothing good came out of the seventies. If the photos of the Clintons had been taken in the mid sixties they would have looked far better.
It's a combination of the quality of photograph, bad lighting, bad clothing and a pointless feminist desire to look au naturale that results in this bad picture.

Apparently, I look younger than I did 5 years ago. I'm fighting age away as hard as I can, but one day, I know I'm gonna wake up old and grey!

Was out with my 5 years' younger sister some years' ago and was asked what my daughter's name was. She was delighted.
I was tempted to shoot his head off - we were at a clay pigeon shoot at the time - but I didn't want to lose my shotgun licence. Got my revenge though - I beat him every competition we were in after that and the mysogynistic old g!t hated being beaten by a 'mere' woman
And, no, I don't look anything like Clarissa Dickson Wright!

If I had to choose a fashion decade to live in it would be the late 1950s to early 1960s, or perhaps the late 1930s....mostly because I want to wear a Fedora or Trilby and not get stared at
