Interview Question
Bahtat was talking about this last night and it's a tough interview question to answer.
It was something along the lines of "In a situation where you had to choose between logic or ethic, which would you choose?"
Now, taken on face value - without creating a scenario like I did to answer - what would you do?

Re: Interview Question
I immediately decide that this is not a company that I want to work for and I then enjoy the rest of the interview with completely off the wall answers. The last time I tried this technique I got offered the job which I then had the pleasure of turning down.

Re: Interview Question
I was asked that last week. Replied ethics. I actually find it difficult to imagine a scenario where an ethical course of action would be illogical: to my mind, the ethical choice is the logical choice.

Re: Interview Question
I struggle to answer it without thinking of scenarios.
I'd like to think ethical comes before logical...I agree that they are most likely intrinsically linked

Re: Interview Question
Doesn't it really depend on the situation? If my family was at risk then ethics would go out of the window. If it was only a routine work situation then I would prefer to follow the ethical route...unless that route was totally illogical.
