Nope, sorry Norm.
Million pounds, kill the dog. Justify it with euthanasia or anything, but c/would you do it? Killing for no reason is a bit iffy...hence up the money and throw in the car. Actually screw it, I could save a hundred animals with the million and still have change for myself. N. |

A vet will do it for about 400 Dhm. Animals are always being put down, they're not like kids, you can just go out and buy a new one, or pick one up from a rescue place for free.

Given that the dog probably can't swim due to its arthritis it would be a case of just letting go and walking back to shore when he was alseep. Not exactly a challenge.
You'd do it then? |

Re: If this picture doesn't move you..
When I was a kid I found a kitten on the street outside our house which had been mashed by a car but was still, barely, alive. I had to drown it in a bucket of water. Less traumatic than I expected to be honest. The poor thing could hardly breathe at that point anyway.
Can I have my million quid now please, Scamp? |

Can I have my million quid now please, Scamp? Well, wrung or snapped. The latter made me go a bit squeemish but was a lot easier. |
Re: If this picture doesn't move you..
Here is my pathetic story. Found a mouse in one of those new plastic snap traps, only half dead(crushed), rushed it to a toilet for a quick flush, dropped it in only to find the toilet out of order. Poor thing was swimming in right circles. I ran off to find a five gallon bucket to refill the reservoir so I could flush the poor thing... By the time I had returned it had slowly drowned:( Yes I've gone soft.

My Cat once brought a mouse home - she had broken its back so it was crawling around on its front legs only. I couldnt face doing the job myself so I took it to an all night vet to have it put down. (the mouse, not the cat)
