Iceland Waterpark Opening Night
We were lucky enough to blag free tickets for the opening last night.
Overall the park is amazing, absolutely huge and loads to do. I won't reel off all the rides as they are covered on the website but basically it's fun for all the family. From crazy bonkers long vertical drops, to splash pools and a wet footy pitch. We normally go to Dreamland and although dearer is way better and certainly well priced compared to UK parks. (I can't compare to Atlantis et al)
As opening nights go it was well organised, even the sheikh was on time and he let my daughter help to cut the ribbon, brought a tear to my eye. Anyways we had a grand tour, free food and 360 degree firework show..what's not to like.
But we recommend it and yes there are a few flaky bits but let's see past that and look at the fact that RAK is trying to do something and do it well.

No whales, blubber or otherwise, just penguins.
