Does anyone have any packing tips, I always take too much stuff and don't wear half of it and end up having to take out stuff at the airport as my case is over its allowance?

Pack only what will go in your hand luggage, buy stuff when you get there, discard before coming home.

Take enough for 5 days, get it cleaned by the hotel laundry service, and charge it to you're work.
