I was a paper boy for 3 years in Bristol. Also helped with the early morning milk round. If I had a son, I would encourage him to do it but not ideal for a girl these days...unless she took her pet Rottweiler with her.

I plan to send my son (if I ever have one) down pits (if there are any left) by the time he's 11. A paper round would be far to easy!

I was always jealous of people who did the milk rounds, theys eemed to make a fortune when we were kids.
