how to overcome hatred of flying

not strictly fear - although that sometimes comes in to it..,
So one day my company asked me if I wanted to come and work in Dubai. The package offered was good, the decision was easy. Although what I sell is marketable in other Gulf nations (as and a marketing professional I can see it wouldnt be in mine or my company's interests to confine ourselves to just the UAE). Trips to Qatar, Saudi and Bahrain are increasing with frequency..., I find all flights are usually mean an overnight stay - even Doha which is less than an hour flying - you cant seem to get there and back in one day on the same carrier.
I guess thousands are doing similar daily., although I'd be interested to hear whether anyone has changed their job, just so they can go home every night.

Going by the thread title (hatred of flying) i think he's referring to the whole process of commuting by plane.....3 hour check in, transport to airport, delays, over nights in hotels etc.
Do that often enough and anyone would hate it.
trouble is....even with same day return trips....you still have 6 hours total time sitting there at check-in / departures before you step on the plane.

Can I suggest we now boycott this thread until/unless TMLB comes back to clarify precisely what it is he's afraid of?
