We are being evicted from our villa on New Years Eve before flying back to the UK permanently on 9th January. If anybody knows a family expected to be away for Xmas & New Year who want to make a few bob in their absence, please let me know. Hotel & furnished apartment prices are crazy at that time of year. We will also be selling all our furniture before we leave.

So if you are being evicted permanently, why do you want the villa to be house-sitted?

He wants a house to live in. He is offering to "house-sit" for a few days.

But it's only for 9 days, there are decent hotels in Dubai who would do 300 a day if u talk to them nicely. I know of a few in Bur Dubai

Plenty of furnished apartments and cheaper hotels like Ibis or Novotel although as this is Mentalist he won't want to put his hand in his pocket.

Thanks for the helpful comments. The cheapest 2-bed apartment for 9 days in a suitable area is Dhs7,000 as its very expensive over the New Years holidays. Madam wants cooking and washing facilities and missy wants her own room, hence the request.
