Happy Days!
No - not the show...
The U.S. Masters is on from tomorrow!
Hoping fox sports (or showtime) sorts out their coverage though as the coverage of the par 3 tourney on now keeps pausing

Re: Happy Days!
One of Bernard Manning's last jokes:
"Seventy years ago, 100 white men chasing one black man was called the Ku Klux Klan. Now it's called professional golf.............."
So, Tiger then................

Re: Happy Days!
Whilst it's a shame for his wife and family, I think this whole episode has made Tiger seem a little more human that the automaton he was before.
It'll be interesting to see how this affects his game over the next few days though, but he looks relaxed if anything. It'll also be interesting to see how he reacts on good/bad shots, as he's said he won't react as 'passionately' as before. Not sure if he used this particular word, but it seems to fit nicely.

Re: Happy Days!
Woods was always an obnoxious stroppy self-interested git..............
In a sport that once saw gentlemen like Nicklaus, Palmer, Player and Watson shine, he's an embarrassment. Did anyone else follow his whingeing round of petulance at Dubai about 3 years ago?

But all that apart, he seems to be quite handy with a golf club and ball?????

Re: Happy Days!
And how great to see Couples at the top of the leader board, in my view one of the true nice guys of golf. And that swing, if Freddie was any more laid back he would be comatose.....
Good to see Westie and Poulter both doing well.
Tiger going well. Some great shots for some one that hasn't played competitive golf for 20 weeks..... Looking forward to tonights coverage....

They're just human. The number of people that know you doesn't change who you are.
Sure - being in the public eye would make you aware you might have to try to behave yourself, but this idolising musicians, sports people etc is the fault of the masses....and we don't even idolise them for their talent anymore...we follow their every move, their girlfriends / boyfriends, wives, kids, their arguments, break ups, fashion sense etc etc etc it's just nuts.
Being able to get a golf ball in a hole doesn't make you a role model as a person.
