...i just read in time out that The Beat are playing at chi on 4 june...does anyone know if this is The Beat featuring dave wakeling and ranking roger?? i thought they disappeared gazillions of years ago in a two-tone cloud of smoke, but could be a good gig if it's them...

I saw them about 3 years back, ranking roger was still doing it but he had his son as well who did the mad, fast sort of rap bits - both jumping around like loons, was ace.
I've got my de la soul tickets as well, sweet.

Sorry to show my ignorance but where is Chi @ The Lodge then? It says its at Al Nasr Leisureland in Oud Metha but that means very little to me. Do they have ample parking?
