Gratuity and Multi Nationals
hope Meow is all over this like a rash
Multi national sends people to UAE on 2-3 contracts and their salary is split 50/50 host and home country with pension benefits etc intact at home can they ask staff to sign a waiver to UAE gratuity ? |
Re: Gratuity and Multi Nationals
Hello! ;)
In short, possibly. It depends on the contracts and how they are worded. If appropriate alternate benefits are provided and staff agree to sign the waiver then it will be legally binding. |
Re: Gratuity and Multi Nationals

Just out of interest, what is a standard UAE gratuity at the end of a 2 year contract?

Re: Gratuity and Multi Nationals
Thanks for that. I assume if the contract is renewed after the 2 years, the gratuity continues to build up?:fingerscrossed:
