Default Going to a hotel for the day

Ok we've done this before (but I don't care).

Trying to have a nice, chilled day tomorrow - so rather than beach thought I'd go to one of the hotels for the day.

We went to Habtoor Grand a few weeks back with mates, AED 175 each but pretty busy and full of tourists (obviously).

Was thinking Jebel Ali club as round the corner from me and is AED 220 or AED 325 with bbq lunch, not been but sounds ok.

We went to one and only royal mirage last year and loved it there. Was about AED 300 I think.

Also went to Desert Palm which is class and for AED 175 (or simialr) you get lunch and can use the pool, but it's a fair hike for us.

Am thinking of pool, beach, massage maybe, nice bit of food and maybe watching the sunset with a few cocktails.

Any recommendations then?

and Barasti have an offer on as well for BBQ and beach access, we are wanting to do the same but I begrudge the prices they charge.

What about that Shoreside place on the Beach Road?

There's a beach, a bar that also does food. Unlike hotels it shouldn't be full of screaming kids either. I haven't been, but suggest you ask Max as I am sure she used to go there regularly.

easily the best beach in a hotel in dubai. absolutely massive which means your never cheek and jowl with anyone else. 3 seperate pools including a fresh water and salt waterpool. the view was semi ruined when they built the palm but as i say now there is no construction its nice and quiet.

re westin no nee dto break in BC just walk along and sit down. i checked with em last time we were there and they were fine about it.

Ethos83 is an unknown quantity at this point

Really?

I do dragonboat training at the Westin/Mina all the time and I've seen hotel staff escort off people who presumably walked off the streets.

*It's probably ok if you order something and sit down somewhere, but if you're swimming it's a different story.
