Getting a cold!
How the hell can I be getting a cold when it's 30odd degrees outside!
Hope it isn't the start of the 'dreaded manflu'
Could be a few days off work and spend time on the beach recovering

Is this your first March out here? If so, could be the real UAE Flu - a really nasty version that could have you in bed for a week or more. Many people get it in their first year, usually when the weather starts getting warmer & all the viruses are about.

Is this your first March out here? If so, could be the real UAE Flu - a really nasty version that could have you in bed for a week or more. Many people get it in their first year, usually when the weather starts getting warmer & all the viruses are about.

Only been here since Nov. I suppose I will get used to it eventually. It doesn't help going in and out of air conditioned buildings/car etc.
I better go and make my will. If I don't post for a few days send the paramedics round to my house!! (maybe with a body bag

Seriously - I reckon the general atmosphere here is really unhealthy. The first year id when everyone gets various illnesses. I had a really bad bout of flu (major antibiotics, in bed a week) - my first in 15 years!
Most people do survive though!

I was on anti-biotics last week for a chest infection,and im still hacking like an old crone.......the 20 a day probably doesnt help though!

I'm getting worried now!
I need a nice young lady to look after me, bring me lemsip and tomatoe soup and bread (with the crusts cut off!) and to rub Vicks into my chest.
Might have to see if I can drown the germs with beer/wine tonight.

its all the AC, I had one after 3 weeks here for a month, coughing, cold, feeling rough as a badgers arse all the time, I was fine outside or at the beach, as soon as we got in the car and put the AC I started off again. Its ridiculous.
