Default Gay friendly hotel in Dubai

This is an actual article published on an American website

10 Best Gay-Friendly Hotels in Dubai

I'm doubting that the 'writer' was ever in Dubai and since when has it been illegal for two blokes to share a room? Gay friends here think it's hilariously crap.

(Just an attempt to get some chat going in this ghost town of a forum...)

Wow, what a useless article. Insert word (gay, teenagers, over 65's people with one leg) 3 lines of blurb then randomly select 10 hotels. Voila, a published article.

In an ideal world it wouldn't matter would it. Sad that it does.

True, but it rather does here. Such a primitive attitude to care so much about the private sex lives of consenting adults.

Why even think it's a worthwhile piece to write / research? That's not me being rude and saying gay folk shouldn't come to Dubai, but more of the fact that nowhere is going to be actually 'gay friendly'. It's like writing an article for the best cocaine-friendly hotels here.

Indeed. But on the plus side, you are invigorating the "ghost town" forum.

Even many "modern" western countries (including my adopted one) spend too much time worrying about such things.

Try and book a room at any of them for Mr and Mr Scamp and say you are newly wed so can you have Champagne, a tube of KY, a selection of bananas, courgettes and a marrow with Roses chucked around the room. Think you will soon find out how gay friendly they are.

I bet Meridian are going to love this.

'Le Hotel Meridian boasts about its private beach where you can lounge. Here you don’t have to worry about the laws against same sex relationships in Dubai.'
