Gary Glitter.....what a piece of s**t !
Jailed in Vietnam in March 2006 for abusing two girls aged ten and 11
Convicted in 1999 in Britain of having child pornography on his computer and served two months in prison.
Released from prison and the plan was that he would be greeted in Britain at Terminal 3 this morning by about 35 police officers - at an estimated cost of £20,000 !
Widespread anger in UK about his talk of taking advantage of the NHS.
Dr Michele Elliott, of children's charity Kidscape, said: 'It makes you sick. He doesn't even want to live here, he's just coming to sponge off us. I can think of a lot more worthy people to give treatment to on the NHS.
'He's an exploiter - he exploits children, he'll exploit the NHS.
'He's not remorseful, he's arrogant and unless he gets help he will continue to be a danger to children. He should go and live on a desert island. Nobody wants him.'
I wonder how long he'll last in UK before he gets a good hiding off someone or other !

Unfortunately, he's still British and the UK Government has a duty to take back deportees no matter what crimes they have committed, even after having done their time in overseas prisons.
The Sex Offenders Act 1997 introduced a requirement on the most serious sex offenders to register their name and address with the police. Offenders must register with their local police whenever they move throughout the period when registration is required, and failure to register is a criminal offence. So at least his movements in the UK will be under watch.
The Act is to be modified to have the power to make regulations requiring sex offenders to notify the police when travelling abroad. So at least he will not be making trips to countries such as Cambodia, which has overtaken Vietnam as a favourite destination for these sickos.

It wont really make any difference though.He is high profile anyway.He will be recognised everywhere he goes..if he is stupid enough to even go out.It wont just be his windows that get put out.
