I always thought the role of the moderator was to stay impartial, and basically resolve any arguments that occurred - i.e. a Policeman of the board.
As such, i would have thought he would have to stay out of discussions/arguments etc.?:D
In which case, what a great decision - no-one could be more worthy of having a gag put on them.:thumbsup:

Surely even a moderator is allowed an opinion? I have always thought it possible to disagree with someone without resorting to an argument or mud-slinging.

Er no.......... I jokingly posted an avatar that was a picture of an intimate part of a woman's body.......... mainly as I had been called a rude version of that earlier (for the first time in my life, as far as I know). Its not easy being a mod, and some forums are more difficult to moderate than others ;) it would be nice if you gave us all some slack. Poor GarethR has only been one for less than 24 hours. How about giving him a chance.
