"Funny" or rather, unusual words I have come across doing crosswords this year:
bragaddocio - reminds me of Bison...boastful bordering on arrogant..but nevertheless harmless.
cunctation - reminds me of BangleMan...frequent delays...will he or won't he go to quiz night with Cloggies...and if he does..then its just happenstance.
eschatology - Beardman - concern with death, judgement and final destiny of the soul and humankind.
ineluctable - reminds me of Eva and her posts...unable to be resisted or avoided..didn't she win most intellectual BE poster?
perspicacious - reminds me of The Dean..having a ready insight into and understanding of things
