Hmm. I'd have to agree with Meow here. I actually dated a very nice lady for a few months that I met randomly on FB whilst in the UAE. That said, there were a lot of wierdos as well that sent me friend requests - it's a question of excercising judgement.
On reflection, if one wishes to avoid wierdos then you really ought not post on here.......

Gosh, but you are one for supposition and titillation. It was terribly pedestrian - the girl randomly commented on an author I'd mentioned on my profile, I commented back, we corresponded for a couple of months and ended up dating.

i would never accept a guy on facebook who wasn't a friend of a friend...and you will find you get loads contacting you, i have no idea how they find you, they must literally spend all day on the bloody thing...i sometimes accept friends' of friends, but it depends which friend it is (if it's patsy stoned's they are all well dodgy, lmao...)
