And what were the odds? Two guys with the knowledge, training and ability to do what they did, on the same train, same day, same carriage, faulty AK47... Jeez.

Very brave young men. What a massacre that could have turned out to be. I've been on that train route with my two children when they were teenagers. Very scary thought of that happening while locked in a speeding train.

Absolute heroes. Two US servicemen returning from a duty of duty along with their student friend and a British 62 year old IT worker all chipped in to stop and secure the thug.
Pity we cannot carry weapons around to be honest. If that gun hadn't jammed they'd all be dead.

AK's can withstand treatment most modern guns would not but they still suffer badly from not being cleaned on a regular basis.
People always blame the ammo. It's the same as saying you only got pissed because you were trying to avoid drowning, and not from actually drinking the booze...

Also nice to see the UAE Forces in Yemen behind the release of a UK hostage in the Yemen.
