A friend of mine worked on the phones for a while at the Terrence Higgins Trust, an AIDS research charity, and lost count of the number of phone-in donors who wanted to donate, but wanted to ensure their money did not go to homosexuals....... because their AIDS was 'self-inflicted' etc........
